I too was privileged enough to watch Miss Potter, and relished every single minute of it. What triumph of character, what exquisite performances.
The best word to describe Potter's work is "timeless"; I am conviced that both adults and children yearn for beauty, simplicity and realism, incredibly all present in both Potter's work and in the film.
The film deserves a lot more publicity, but then, maybe this one wasn't produced to make money, but for the sheer joy of the theme and pleasure of making it.
Thank you for your superb review!
